Ti. Quinctius, 112-111 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 4.00 g, 7 h), Rome. Bust of Hercules to left, seen from behind and draped with lion skin, holding club above his right shoulder. Rev. TI Q / D•S•S (incuse on tablet) Desultor to left; behind, Z and •; below, rat to right between letters of name. Babelon (Quinctia) 6. Crawford 297/1b. RBW -. Sydenham 563. Beautifully toned and well centered. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
