A lovely coin with a particularly attractive portrait of Tranquillina. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise, about extremely fine.

The twin tetrastyle temples seen on the reverse of this bronze coin of Severus Alexander are neocorate temples, as referenced by the inscription ΔΙϹ ΝЄΩΚ[OPON]. The first was probably erected under Septimius Severus, and the second under Severus Alexander, both representing worship of the imperial cult.
