THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 12.08 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly to left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring and necklace. Rev. ΛΑΡΙ-ΣΑΙΩΝ Bridled horse walking right. BCD Thessaly I 1161. BCD Thessaly II 303. HGC 4, 409. Lorber, Hoard, 64-8 var. (differing arrangement of ethnic). Nicely toned and very well centered. A few light marks and with a die break on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
