Claudius. AD 41-54. Fourrée Denarius (17mm, 3.26 g, 12h). Romano-British imitation. Imitating Rome mint issue of AD 50-51. Laureate head right / S P Q R/ P•P/ OB C S in three lines within oak wreath. North Suffolk 84-101 (dies H/5); cf. RIC I 54; cf. von Kaenel Type 42; cf. RSC 93. Attractively tone, breaks in plating reveal copper core. Good VF. Fine style.
