JUDAEA, Bar Kochba Revolt. 132-135 CE. AR Zuz – Denarius (19mm, 2.56 g, 12h). Irregular issue. Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). ["Shim'on'" (in Hebrew) irregularly distributed in two lines within wreath] / Flagon with handle; palm frond to right; "For the Freedom of Jerusalem" (in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 245.1 (O41/R162) = Shoshana 20391 (this coin); cf. Hendin 6445 (for regular issue); cf. Meshorer 283 (same). Toned, thick encrustation covering obverse. VF. Unique.
