Kingdom of Macedon, Philip III Arrhidaios AR Drachm. Struck under Menander or Kleitos, in the name and types of Alexander III. Magnesia ad Maeandrum, circa 323-317 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre; AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ in right field, bee to left under throne, spearhead in outer right field. Price 1938 corr. (bee under throne). 4.19g, 16mm, 12h.
