BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ / MENANΔPOY Diademed heroic bust of Menander I left, with aegis on left shoulder and raising spear in right hand. Rev. 'Maharajasa tratarasa Menamdrasa' (in Kharosthi) Athena Alkidemos advancing to left, hurling thunderbolt held in right hand and holding forth shield with aegis in left; to right, monogram.
