Kingdom of Macedon, Philip III Arrhidaios AR Drachm. Struck under Menander or Kleitos, in the types of Alexander III. Magnesia ad Maeandrum, circa 323-319 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre; ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟ[Υ] to right, bee to right in left field, spearhead to inner right. Price P50; Müller P57a; Roma 84, 450 (hammer: £420). 4.23g, 17mm, 12h.

Good Extremely Fine; attractively toned. Extremely Rare; only five other examples on CoinArchives, all in inferior condition.
