Theodore I Comnenus-Lascaris. Emperor of Nicaea, 1208-1222. BI Aspron Trachy (26mm, 3.24 g, 6h). Type B. Nicaea mint. Struck circa 1208. Christ enthroned facing holding Book of Gospels. Stars below IC/XC. / Theodore standing facing, wearing crown and chlamys, holding cruciform scepter and akakia, with star in field to right. DOC IV.2, 6.1; SB 2022. EF much of legend missing. .
