Indo-Greek Kingdom, Amyntas Nikator Æ 25mm. Circa 80-65 BC. BAΣIΛEΩΣ NIKATOPOΣ AMYNTOY, radiate and draped bust of Zeus-Mithra to right, wearing Phrygian cap / 'Maharajasa jayadharasa Amitasa' in Kharosthi, Athena standing to left, making benediction gesture and holding spear, carrying shield on back; monogram to left. Bopearachchi 15; Mitchiner 397; SNG ANS -; HGC 12, 428. 8.05g, 25mm x 19mm, 12h.

Good Very Fine; overstruck on an earlier type (possibly a Strato I Herakles / Nike type, - Bopearachchi 29-30; HGC 12, 349-350). Rare.
