| Lot description: Brazil Afonso VI Counterstamped 500 Reis ND (1663) XF45 NGC, KM36-38, LMB-30. 21.53gm. Crowned S00 counterstamp (AU Standard) applied on a Portugal João IV 400 Reis (Cruzado) from the Porto mint. Particularly nice for the issue, the stamp well applied and the scarcer host in a higher state of preservation, all dressed in an ancient patina.
