| Lot description: Colombia Charles III gold 4 Escudos 1776 NR-JJ/VJ AU53 PCGS, Bogota mint, KM43.2, Restrepo-67.4 (Rare). An extremely elusive issue with only 6 examples graded by both NGC and PCGS. Noted as Rare by Restrepo, the last instance this cataloger can trace an auction appearance to was in 2018 (Stack's Bowers, January 2018).
