| Lot description: HAITI, copper 6-1/4 centimes, Faustin I, 1850, NGC MS 63 BN, ex-Lissner (stated on label). KM-38. Traces of original toning and luster around details, among the best ever offered and a tie with the finest at both NGC and PCGS, but this coin mislabeled as a 6c pattern by NGC (as mentioned in the Lissner sale). Pedigreed to the R.L. Lissner Collection (CNG/St. James's/Teller auction of August 2014, lot 1818), also to the New Netherlands Coin Company auction of November 1973 (lot 903).
