| Lot description: CANADA, Province of Nova Scotia, copper penny token, George IV, 1824, three top thin locks, ex-Moore, ex-Baker. Breton-868; Courteau-261; NS-2A2; KM-2. 17.30 grams. AU- with choice bold strike, glossy mocha fields with dark brown details. The Nova Scotia "thistle" tokens were struck without British authority officially to replace withdrawn private issues.
