Struck by the authority of the State of Louisiana between its secession from the Union on January 26, 1861, and its admission to the Confederate States on March 21, 1861. Sharply detailed Mint State with satin luster across the obverse, a few patches of micro-pitting from corrosion. With salvager's certificate and wooden display box. Recovered from: S.S.
