| Lot description: BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 1 real, 1675+65 E, NGC VF details / sea salvaged (Shipwreck Blue Label). S-P37b; KM-unl (23 for Type); Cal-261. 3.20 grams. Nice pillars with bold mintmark and assayer and date 75 (plus 16 in legend), the date below the cross 65 instead (scarce error with 7 omitted, since the legend is for Charles II), minimal corrosion but some peripheral flatness, attractively toned. With original ROBCAR tag and photo-certificate M180163. Recovered from: Consolación, sunk in 1681 off Santa Clara Island, Ecuador Estimate: $200 - $300 |  |
