BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1649) O, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1487. 27.17 grams. Broad and very solid flan with no corrosion, large edge-crack, full countermark in lower-left quadrant of bold full cross, nice full shield with bold assayer to left and denomination to right, most of crown above, silvery with traces of toning around details. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
