| Lot description: BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible (pre-assayer Q style), Grade 1. KM-10; Cal-Type 164. 26.67 grams. No corrosion at all but with lots of flat areas (weak strike) in the otherwise full cross and shield, the latter with bold denomination o-VIII to right, deeply toned on fields for good contrast.
