BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1620 with extra digit 1 between the 6 and 2 ("16120") T, very rare, Grade 1. S-P21; KM-10; Cal-929 var. 26.24 grams. Very full and bold date with extraneous 1 in middle that appears to be an engraving error and not just from doubling (first example we have seen, mentioned on tag and certificate), also full P+T and bold full shield and cross, nicely toned, minimal surface corrosion. With original Fisher tag and photo-certificate 94A-6200 and appraisal for $5,245 from 2013. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
