| Lot description: COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, Charles II (posthumous), no assayer (Arce), NGC AU 58 (1715 Fleet Shipwreck Label). Restrepo-M66.32; S-B24; KM-14.2; Cal-Type 242 (under Ph. V); Fr-4a. 6.80 grams. Round flan with 100% full shield and cross (the latter slightly doubled), a little more worn or lightly struck than usual (including odd peripheral striations on part of reverse) but with contrasting sediment in crevices.
