| Lot description: Canada Nova Scotia. Victoria Specimen Pattern Cent 1861 SP66 Red and Brown PCGS, London mint, KM-Pn9, NS-4. An astounding representative of this rare Pattern, carrying stunning teal patina to the Queen's effigy and obverse fields, and mint red brilliance to the reverse where delicate die polish lines amplify the flash at the turn of the wrist. An enormously covetable piece when viewed in hand, presently bested by a single Red example at PCGS and we anticipate fierce bidding activity as this crosses the block.
