2008 Platinum 14-Coin Set containing the two sets of the definitive coins of 2008 in one presentation box and struck in platinum. The Emblems of Britain set contains the reverse designs by Christopher Ironside: the Royal Arms on the 1 coin, seated Britannia on the 50p, the Tudor Rose on the 20p, the lion passant guardant royally crowned on the 10p, the thistle on the 5p, the Prince of Wales feathers on the 2p, and the portcullis on the 1p. The Shield of Arms set features reverse designs by Matthew Dent and is comprised of the 1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p. All coins bear the obverse portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS. S.PPLS1 and S.PPLS2 respectively. (14)
