AR Proof Halfcrown (35mm, 14.93 g, 6h). London mint; im: sun. Dated 1656. Coat-of-arms within wreath of palm frond and olive branch / Two coats-of-arms; II VI (mark of value) above. Bull, Silver 50; ESC 437B; North 2722; SCBC 3215.
Struck on a perfectly round flan from dies of fine workmanship.
Golden lustre beneath delicate grey toning. EF. Extremely rare.
