| Lot description: The Geoffrey Cope Collection of British Coins. Charles I 'Fine Work' Shillings of the Tower Mint. AR Shilling (29mm, 5.98 g, 4h). Aberystwyth mint; im: open book. Struck 1638/9-1642. Crowned bust left; plumes to left, XII (mark of value) to right / Plumes over coat-of-arms. Morrieson, Aberystwyth B-2; Brooker 756 (same dies); North 2330; SCBC 2884.
