Lot description: The Geoffrey Cope Collection of British Coins. Edward VI. 1547-1553. AR Groat (25mm, 2.51 g, 5h). First period. London mint; im: arrow. Struck April 1547-February 1548. Crowned and mantled bust right / Coat-of-arms on long cross fleurée. North 1897; SCBC 2454. Small spot of hard green in centre. Lightly toned. Good VF.
