Rev. CENE FERR (retrograde) in two lines. S.966. North 475/1. Extremely rare and in exceptional condition. Perfectly struck on a full flan with a wonderful light iridescent tone. Virtually as struck and almost Fdc Privately purchased from Wolfshead gallery. From Greco and Cross collections. Amazing example of Guthrum minting in the Danelaw after his peace with Aelfred.
