A praiseworthy Gem specimen of this coveted one-year issue, struck to the same size, weight, and fineness as the British sovereign. Often found in Mint State, but rarely in Gem, this incredible representative of the issue flaunts striking vertical die-polish lines on the obverse and an overall canary yellow brilliance that is quite captivating.
