| Lot description: Bolivia Republic gold 8 Scudos 1835 PTS-LM MS62 NGC, Potosi mint, KM99, Fr-21. There is so much variability in this type, with each example at a similar grade possessing relative strengths and weaknesses compared to others that have crossed our desk. This happens to be a very strong example for the grade. The obverse here boasts crisply defined details and a relative paucity of significant abrasions while the reverse carries a few stray adjustment marks, but no major detractions.
