An inspiring representative of this 18th-century Taler type that seems leaps and bounds above what is typically found for this one-year issue, which saw only 31,000 examples struck. The surfaces retain argent brilliance, their mint freshness punctuated only by touches of graphite that decorate the legends and outer registers.
