A clear conditional outlier for a type when not witnessed in Proof, almost never reaching Choice designations, let alone of the cusp of Gem. Watery brilliance abounds this expansive survivor, highlighting only the minute imperfections to preclude a Gem assignment. Struck to a mintage of just 35,000 coins, this was drastically inhibited by subsequent melting, making any specimen of this date quite elusive.
