George II (1727-1760), Two-Guineas, 1735, first younger laureate head left, stop above head, rev. crowned garnished shield with rounded arches, edge obliquely milled, 16.68g, 7h (MCE 290; EGC 566; Schneider II, 568; Douglas-Morris 58 same dies; King -; Spink 3667A), a small scratch to neck, otherwise uniformly sharply struck but for finest curls of hair, residually brilliant and rather choice for this prohibitively rare date, extremely fine or very near so.
