William and Mary (1688-1694), Guinea, 1694 over 3, stop after GRATIA, broken and crudely (Mint) repaired R in MARIA, conjoined laureate busts right, rev. crowned shield, five strings to later upright harp, edge obliquely milled, 8.31g [128.2grns], 5h (MCE 159; Farey 363; EGC I, 376 [Reverse Type 2w(4N2)]; Spink 3426), removed from a mount at 12 o'clock with areas of discoloured retoning, with an overt die break through DEI, otherwise rubbed and naturally toned, struck details a bolder fine.
