REGINA, crowned bust 1F left, rev. (m.m.) SCVTIVM . FIDEI . PROTEGET : EAM, crowned square-topped shield dividing E-R, 2.76g [42.6grns], 2h, m.m. rose over crosslet/rose (cf. Schneider I, 749; Brown & Comber H6; North 1995; Spink 2522A), one or two creases and some edge chipping, surfaces somewhat dull from corrosion, specific variety not listed in Schneider, the overmark very rare, about very fine.
