ALEXANDER F(AR)NES : PAR : PLA · DVX · BELG : DVM : GVB ·, armored and draped bust right, wearing ruff; on truncation of bust, ET 40 in incuse / CONCIPE CER TAS SPES 1585, Alexander the Great reclining right in tent, reaching to catch satyr standing right; in background, fortifications and city view of Antwerp; in exergue, ΣATYPOΣ in incuse. Cf. Van Loon (new edition) 1585.2 (for original). Brown surfaces. Good VF.
