Clearly untouched by cleaning or chemicals over the course of its existence, this lovely "Cap and Rays" 8 Reales offers highly pleasing originality, with a gentle layer of age-old patination blanketing the surfaces of either side. If not for a narrow scratch to the left of the eagle, this piece would easily have claims to the Gem grade range, with only the minutest flaws to be seen elsewhere over the surfaces.
