| Lot description: JAPAN. Trade Dollar, Year 10 (1877). Osaka Mint. Mutsuhito (Meiji). PCGS Genuine--Repaired, EF Details. KM-Y-14; JNDA-01-12; JC-09-12-1. A handsome Trade Dollar with attractive slate gray surfaces. Close inspection reveals some strengthening of detail on the devices as well as smoothing on the reverse fields, but these repairs are rather subtle and not overly distracting when the coin is looked upon as a whole.
