GREAT BRITAIN. Edward VII & Alexandra Coronation Gold Medal, 1902. PCGS AU-55.
cf. BHM-3772 (unlisted in gold at 20mm); cf. Eimer-1870 (unlisted in gold or at 20mm). By E. Fuchs for Elkington & Co. Diameter: 20mm; Weight: 6.78 gms. Obverse: Crowned jugate busts of Edward, mantled and wearing Chain of the Garter, and Alexandra right; Reverse: Britannia seated right, resting elbow upon shield; radiant crown and crossed branches above, view of Westminster Abbey at a distance to right. Some scattered wear and breaks of luster are noted, as well as some small scratches in the obverse field, but this nevertheless stands as an EXTREMELY RARE issue in the small gold format.
