BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 992. Weight: 178.5 gms. "戴天源號滙號纹銀" (Daitianyuan Bank, remittance bank fine silver), "公估童佘陳看" (Inspected by public assayers Tong, She and Chen). Wholesome and original looking, this handsome example exhibits boldly applied central and outer stamps with complete inscriptions. The assay stamps are uneven and cockeyed, obscuring several characters, but are still identifiable. A pleasing example of the type. Estimate: $1000 - $1500 |  |
