Lot description: Thailand Rama IV 2 Baht (1/2 Tamlung) ND (1863) MS62 NGC, KM-Y12, Dav-308. A very desirable representative of what is the largest machine-made silver denomination of Rama IV's reign. Displaying a soft pewter and sepia tone with hints of original luster still percolating in the surfaces, particularly on the reverse. Highly valued here, with finer examples becoming increasingly prohibitive to acquire. https://coins.ha.com/itm/thailand/thailand-rama-iv-2-baht-1-2-tamlung-nd-1863-ms62-ngc-/a/61369-21856.s?type=DA-DMC-CoinArchives-WorldCoins-61369-04072024 HID02906262019 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved |
