George II (1727?60), Crown, 1746, LIMA. Old laureate and draped bust left, legend surrounding GEORGIVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, ten strings to Irish harp, central garter star, date flanking top crown, reads surrounding M.B.F.ET. H.REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I. A.T ET.E., edge inscription DECVS ET TVTAMEN ANNO REGNI DECIMO NONO (S. 3689; Bull 1668; ESC 125). Haymarked but still well struck with pleasing detail on both sides, Near Extremely Fine.
