Swedish Royal Academy Patriotic Society, Long and Faithful Service, Gustav VI Adolf (1950-73), gold Medal, 1954, awarded to Alma Gustafsson, adorned with crown, bare head left, GUSTAF. VI. ADOLF. SVERIGES. KONUNG., rev. inscription AF KUNGL. PATRIOTISKA SÄLLSKAPET above round, ÅT ALMA GUSTAFSSON FÖR LÅNGVARIG TROGEN TJÄNST across five lines, edge plain, small engraving JV GULD 1954 to left of crown, 0.900 gold, 23.82g, 35mm. An attractive example with lustrous fields, some hairlines on both sides, reverse shows signs of cleaning, otherwise about extremely fine and very rare.

The Swedish legend translates as "Gustav Adolph the Sixth, King of Sweden," and the inscription on the reverse as "By The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences Patriotic Society. To Alma Gustavson for long-term faithful service."
