| Lot description: GREAT BRITAIN. Bank Dollar (5 Shillings), 1804. Birmingham (Soho) Mint. George III. NGC VF Details--Test Cut. S-3768; ESC-1944 (R3); KM-Tn1. A RARE variety with the first leaf of the laurel pointing to the right of the E rather than the left or center. A few scratches are apparent on the obverse, as well as the noted test cut on the upper rim, but otherwise the piece is wholesome and evidently well-circulated. Estimate: $200 - $400 |  |
