Eimer-1518; Summer-K23. By G. Loos and W. Kullrich. Diameter: 53mm. Obverse: An angel, facing, and standing on a pedestal displaying English and Prussian arms, spreads a wedding banner over facing medallion portraits of Friedrich and Victoria, perimeter legend above and signatures below; Reverse: Victoria, as a Roman princess, and Friedrich step off the prow of a galley, welcomed by Germania at right; Roman soldier to left, "SALVE" above and signature below. Victoria and Friedrich were well-matched, sharing a liberal ideology not in the Prussian mainstream.
