From the El-Greco Collection of Modern Greek Rarities, ex Hess-Leu (18), 11 October 1961, 239 (?).

Finding a 19th century Greek coin issued for circulation coins in such a pristine condition is notably scarce. The marked contrast between the intricate details and the glistening fields of this proof coin is particularly lovely.
