56.56 g of .925 Sterling Silver. 38.61mm. This sizeable Piedfort was struck in double the thickness of 925 sterling silver as the standard £5 coin and is a fitting memento to celebrate the first ever Platinum Jubilee of a British Monarch. The obverse depicts the final coinage portrait of Her Majesty The Queen by Jody Clark. The reverse features an elaborate royal mantle design which was inspired by the mantle, or robe, worn by Her Majesty at the coronation in 1953 and also by the designs on the coinage of King William IV.
