CIVITAS EBORACI, shield over long cross fourchée, keys below, 1h, 0.80g, no m.m (North 1728; Spink 2236), soft in parts, fine; Henry VIII (1509-1547), Halfgroat, 1533-1544, Canterbury, Archbishop Cranmer, crowned bust facing right, rev. CIVITAS CANTOR, shield over long cross fourchée, dividing T-C, 8h, 1.37g, m.m catherine wheel (North 1804; Spink 2345), soft to the central devices and some light marking across the face, yet with a pleasing tone to the legends, good very fine; Sovereign Type, Penny, Durham, 1529-1530, Sede Vacante, King enthroned holding sceptre, rev. CIVITAS DVRHAM, shield over long cross fourchée, 0.64g, m.m star (North 1812; Spink 2353), soft and lightly pitted surfaces, fine (3).
