UMAYYAD OF SPAIN: Sulayman, 1009-1010, AR dirham (3.07g), Madinat al-Zahra, AH401, A-358.3, citing the official al-Mundhir b. Yahya al-Tujibi, appointed governor of Zaragoza in AH400, but he remained nominal Umayyad governor of Córdoba until 406, even though he left for Zaragoza, probably in 401, where he remained until his death in 414; unpublished and almost certainly unique and of great historic importance! VF-EF, RRRR. The son of this Mundhir, also named Yahya, actually took over at Zaragoza in AH414, where he struck the first Tujibid coins (gold dinars only) in 415.
