A lovely Gem example of this SCARCE later date in the series, featuring jewel-like luster and clean fields. Faint as-made roller marks appear on the portrait-a leftover effect of the process of the rolling of the gold alloy into flat sheets prior to the punching out of the planchets, and extremely typical for this denomination.
