Issued for a monumental event, the incredible 60th year of reign, this medal features two busts of the queen--a contemporary, late in life portrait on the obverse, and a throwback, youthful portrait on the reverse. Light golden-yellow in color and with an alluring matte nature, this impressive, nearly-Choice commemorative features not just the queen's 'old head' bust from coinage, but also her 'young head' from the beginning of her reign.
