Danish East Anglia (c. 895-918), "St Edmund Memorial" Coinage, Penny, Wine / Wineger, + SC EADMVND RI, recumbent S, central A, trefoil above, rev. + VVINIER MONETVI (inverted A), reverse-barred Ns, short cross pattée, 1.31g [20.22grns], 11h (SCBI 1 [Fitzwilliam], 466 same obverse die; North 483; Spink 960), residual lustre in lightly toned fields, usual flaws and peripheral striking softness to legends, otherwise alomst very fine.
